　　Trying a bike tour around the West Lake in Hangzhou will be a good way to travel. Hangzhou has prefect bicycle sharing system.

　　If you want to rent a bike, you need to download corresponding APP and scan QR code on the handlebar to unlock the bike. The rent will be no more than 1 RMB an hour.

　　For lunch, why not make your way to the most famous Hangzhou restaurant Louwailou（楼外楼）. Hangzhou is famous for its excellent cuisine. You must try Westlake fish with vinegar and Stir Fried Shrimp with Longjing Tea.

　　Waipojia（外婆家）（grandma’s home） would be the best choice for your dinner. Go and try some pork potstickers like brown and crispy on the outside, super juicy on the inside. And for Braised Pork belly: have fatty and lean meat on it at the same time.

　　Westlake Longjing green tea is a pride to local people in Hangzhou unlike black tea. It tastes very light with wonderful fragments. Meijiawu is a tea village near Westlake, which produces the best West Lake Longjing Tea in Hangzhou.

　　With over 600 years of history, the ancient village of Mei Jia Wu is well-known for the way it preserves and showcases traditional tea culture. Here you can make your own batch of Longjing Tea, handpicking Longjing Tea leaves and then roasting them in the “Dragon Well” yourself.

　　1. Su Causeway and Bai Causeway

　　These two footpaths, which span across the lake, were constructed in memory of Song Dynasty literary figure Su Dongpo, and Tang Dynasty poet, Bai Juyi, respectively. Willow and peach trees line both causeways, creating a splendid stroll for any season which make it the most popular walking and cycling sites of indigenous residents.

　　Meander across the six bridges on the Su Causeway and take in the sight of the West Lake shimmering on both sides. However, non-motor vehicles have been prohibited to enter the two footpaths recently. If you decide to go in, make sure you have enough strength.

　　苏堤和白堤：

　　这两条横跨西湖的步道，分别为纪念中国宋代文学人物苏东坡和唐代诗人白居易而建立。堤道两旁栽满了柳树和桃树，春夏秋冬景色各异，是杭州本地人最喜爱的散步好去处。你可以漫步于苏堤的六座桥上，近观湖水微澜。不过最近，苏堤白堤已经禁行非机动车，只允许游客步行进入。所以倘若你决定前往，请保证足够的体力哦！

　　Without seeing lotus, your summer in Hangzhou would be really plain. Make sure you won’t miss the Breeze-ruffled Lotus at Winding Garden. It’s one of the Ten Scenes of West Lake. This was the imperial brewery of the Southern Song Dynasty and the only place where alcohol was made for government officials during that time. 

　　During the summer, visitors can enjoy many different kinds of lotus flowers that bloom and cover a large area of the West Lake.

　　During the Dragon Boat Festival(6.16-18), there were several fabulous lotus flower exhibition in the West Lake area, such as Guo’s Villa and Hupao Park. This is where you can see over 1000 species of lotus flowers , they’re really a feast for eyes.

　　Linyin Temple is also a place worth visiting. The temple's name is literally translated as Temple of the Soul's Retreat. It’s located at the north-west of the West Lake. 

　　Lingyin Temple is one of the oldest and most significant ancient Buddhist temple in China. With its long history and charming scenery, Lingyin Temple attracts thousands of visitors and Buddhist faithful every day.

　　As a place of active worship, you can peacefully observe monks and devout believers praying while appreciating the grandeur of the temple’s beautiful architecture.
